Tree Trimming
Not every tree service has the experience or even the knowledge to correctly prune your trees. Just one bad cut can have severe consequences on the future health of your tree. The life expectancy of a tree after a bad pruning job? About 20 years! In fact industry organizations want a tree service to think about what will happen to a tree 20 years into the future before making a cut. It’s no longer appropriate to just trim a tree. A tree service now has to formulate a plan According to ANSI A300 for every tree pruned. This plan must take into consideration the effects the pruning operation will have on the tree for the ongoing future. What are the odds of a lawn care company or tree service actually following the standards set forth to protect your trees into the the future? If your Tree service can’t quote an ANSI A300 Standard for the operation they perform for you then they shouldn’t be your tree service. It’s vitally important for you to fully understand who you hire to do your tree trimming. To insure that you are choosing the right tree service for the job; make sure that they follow a code of ethics, follow the industry’s written standards, are members of an industry organization like the International Society of Arboriculture and or Tree Care Industry Association.
